*This is not a double exposure/photomanipulation*
Flying down the asphalt towards freedom. Mexico awaited us as we cruised with the sun falling below the mountains. The sun dyed the clouds as it sank for 60 miles driven. Photography in a convertible is perfect, even if the wind makes it hard to stick your head above the windshield. A slow shutter, a flash, and a 75mph cruising speed is what made this photograph. The shadows of the cacti are blurred but their ghostly images are clear. Focus was a tough one since it was dark and I couldn't see a thing. I tried to dull down the color grain/noise as much as possible without losing clarity. This is why I never shoot above ISO 400 unless I have to... I like to keep it at 100  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
